Growth puts pressure on housing before it puts money in anyone’s pocket. The CDC invests in housing that keeps communities intact as they grow, from new construction and rehabilitation to the neighborhood projects that make a block worth staying on.
What we fund
- Affordable housing development. New units built where the need is greatest.
- Rehabilitation. Bringing existing homes and buildings back into use.
- Neighborhood revitalization. Projects that restore blocks, corridors, and community assets.
- Predevelopment. Early stage funding that helps a project reach the construction starting line.
- Community infrastructure. The facilities and improvements that make housing work.
