Five focus areas, one goal: communities that are stronger and more economically resilient after growth arrives than they were before it. Each area funds different projects, but the path is the same. Tell us about the project, and the CDC team will tell you whether it fits.

Investment in training and skills pathways that connect people to good jobs.

Support for projects that connect communities to opportunity and to each other.

Energy and utility affordability

Programs that ease the cost of energy for families and small businesses.

The CDC can also support community infrastructure and predevelopment work, the early stage funding that helps a project reach the construction starting line. If your project does not fit neatly into one of the five areas, ask anyway.
